Practical visa guide

Second Edition

update march 2022

On the occasion of the Before Babel Music XP digital trade show in November 2020, Zone Franche and the Comité Visas Artistes had published the second edition of the Practical Visa Guide for cultural professionals on November 27, 2020.
The first edition was launched in December 2016 during the Transmusicales de Rennes.

Over the past 14 months, the situation has continued to evolve in the context of the current health crisis, the shockwaves of which are having a particularly strong impact on mobility in general and international traffic in particular. Closed borders, partial or total reopening, vaccination passes, new procedures put to the test.…

We have therefore updated this second edition.

Available free of charge online and soon in paper format, it reports on recent legislative and regulatory advances relating to the circulation of artists in France and abroad.

We’ll be updating the digital version of this guide regularly, based on feedback from the field and as the health crisis evolves.

We would also like to thank the members of the Comité Visas Artistes for their careful review, including the SFA-CGT, SNAM-CGT, UFISC, Prodiss, Cité Internationale des Arts and Institut Français, who are associated with this publication.

And special thanks to Anaïs Lukacs of MobiCulture for her close partnership in the writing of this guide.
